This was not my first visit to Dentistry by Design. But my first review. The Hygienist was pleasant and well skilled. Explained everything. Then the doctor came in, it was a flashback to old school doctoral care. White coat, pleasant and knowledgeable. Shook my hand when he came in and when he left.

Dr. Gilsdorf is one of the most competent and caring dentists I’ve ever visited. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and consistently maintains a gentle, kind, and compassionate demeanor every time I’m in for treatment. The front desk staff is always welcoming and helpful from the moment you walk through the door, and both the assistants and hygienists are highly skilled and thorough in their work.

The office itself is spotless, modern, and inviting, with beautifully landscaped views from many of the windows. I also appreciate the ceiling-mounted televisions, which make it easy to relax and take your mind off the dental work if needed.

I highly recommend this practice. I’ve been seeing Dr. Gilsdorf since he first arrived in Manhattan, and the quality of care has been outstanding from the very beginning.

I had a lot of dental work done here over 10 years ago. I had terrible teeth and was sure I would need them all pulled when I was 23 years old. They were able to save my teeth.

I have moved to a few different states, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas and back to Georgia. Everywhere I go, the new dentist always compliments the restorative work that I had done at this facility.

Taryn my hygienist and Dr. Gilsdorf were great! The both made me feel comfortable and explained what I needed in the way of dental care. They also told me I did not have periodontal disease. Gosh, I truly cannot extend enough praise to the dental hygienist Hallie. I have extreme anxiety with dental offices as well as major tooth sensitivity. Hallie’s positive attitude and calm demeanor were immensely needed today! Truly, she could not have been any more kind, compassionate, professional, nonjudgmental, and patient with me. She listened, talked me through everything, was as gentle as she could be, and never rushed our visit despite the busy morning. And my teeth and gums look and feel cleaner and healthier than ever! I personally have not had any complaints with this dental office. Whenever my insurance clears my service I’m grateful for when I able to be seen. The staff has been nothing but nice and welcoming to me. Shannon or whichever is the last who calls to remind you of your appointment is a nice secretary. The Dentist is great also.

Amazing staff from the front desk to the back to the dentist to the hygienist. Everybody’s amazing there. They take care of their veterans and their families. They accept VA. I referred the dentist to anybody. They do an amazing job on my cleaning. They talk to me on my hiding, how I can improve my teeth and everything is worked out. I love this dentist.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Dentistry by Design. From the moment I scheduled my first appointment, I was incredibly nervous – even just making the appointment was a big step for me. I’ve always been self-conscious about my teeth, and a traumatic childhood experience left me with a deep fear of the dentist. I was once judged and discriminated against for the state of my teeth, so walking into a new office felt overwhelming.

But from the second I stepped in, the staff and dentists completely changed my perspective. They welcomed me with kindness, reassured me that my concerns were completely normal, and worked with me to create a treatment plan that would restore my smile. Their compassion and professionalism put my fears to rest, and for the first time in years, I feel confident enough to smile in photos again. And the best part? We’re not even done yet!

They are always so welcoming and I can tell he and all of his team of staff genuinely care about my teeth and overall oral health because they walk me through what they find on my x-rays or if they are doing work to fix a tooth he’s so great at telling me what he’s doing as he’s fixing the tooth which helps to take away all of my anxiety! I’ve never had a bad hygienist here either, and I’ve seen a few different ones! “Honestly can say that the staff at Dentistry By Design are amazing at what they do. From calling to make an appointment, checking in, having my teeth cleaned and examined to scheduling my next appointment was a great experience. Dr.Bret knows what he is doing and is very honest about everything. My husband also goes here and he was grinding his teeth a lot at night. Dr.Bret recommend he get an NTI and after using it for a couple weeks his headaches stopped, and his jaw pain was minimal to almost gone. Best dentistry place in town by far!!
